Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Neural Wave ("we", "us", "the service") is an unincorporated project, not a registered company — you're dealing directly with the individual operator running it. We provide a dashboard and hosting infrastructure for deploying and managing Discord bots, both prebuilt templates and custom-built bots. By creating an account, signing in with Discord, or purchasing a bot, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must meet Discord's own minimum age requirement (13, or higher where local law requires) and be able to form a binding agreement to use the service. You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times — we can't override Discord's own rules for you.

3. Accounts

You sign in with Discord OAuth — we never see or store your Discord password. You're responsible for anything that happens through your Discord account while it's connected to Neural Wave, and for keeping your own Discord account secure.

4. Subscriptions, payments & refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Prebuilt bots may be billed as recurring subscriptions; custom bots and custom features are one-time payments. Prices may change going forward — active subscriptions keep their existing price until you change plans. Full refund terms are in our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms. In short: once a bot has been provisioned onto our infrastructure, that charge is final.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Neural Wave to run a bot that:

• Violates Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or Developer Policy
• Is illegal, harassing, hateful, or facilitates fraud, spam, or abuse
• Attempts to overload, exploit, or gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure or other customers' bots
• Infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy

We can suspend or remove any bot that violates this section, with or without notice, especially where continued operation risks our infrastructure or Discord's own enforcement action against us.

6. Your bot, your responsibility

For prebuilt bots, you own the Discord application/bot account you connect; we host and run the template code on your behalf. For custom bots, we build the bot to your specification, but you're responsible for how it's configured and used once it's live. Template source code is licensed to you for use on our hosting only — it isn't sold to you outright, and redistributing, reselling, or self-hosting a copy of our template code outside Neural Wave isn't permitted.

7. Service availability

We run bots on shared infrastructure on a best-effort basis. We don't guarantee uptime, and bots may be restarted for maintenance, updates, or incident response. We aren't liable for losses caused by downtime, Discord API outages, or issues on Discord's side that are outside our control.

8. Termination

You can cancel a subscription or remove a bot from your dashboard at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or conduct that risks the service or other users. On termination, we may delete the associated bot instance and its hosted data.

9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above; continuing to use Neural Wave after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing approach

Neural Wave doesn't operate as a registered legal entity in any single jurisdiction. We aim to resolve any dispute directly and in good faith first — please reach out before escalating anything further. Nothing here limits any statutory rights you have under the consumer protection law of your own country of residence.
